Camino de las Américas
The official extension of the Camino de Santiago in the Americas, with BeatWay as its technology layer: credential, stamps and community on the phone, without taking anything away from the pilgrim who just wants to walk.

The Camino is not a route. It is a format, and it had gone a thousand years without an update.
The question in 2010 was whether the Camino de Santiago could exist outside Europe. The conventional answer was no, because heritage is where it is. The turn was to understand the Camino as a replicable format, made of credential, stamps, stages and hospitality, rather than as a path on a map. With that, any territory with Hispanic history and a cathedral could be Camino. The second turn came later: a thousand year old format runs on paper and ink stamps, and that does not scale to a continent. That is where BeatWay came in, the platform we had already invented for territories, as the technology layer of the Camino.
The format, not the path
Credential, stamps, stages and hospitality carried to the Americas with the same grammar as in Europe, so that anyone who has walked the French Way recognises immediately what they are looking at.
BeatWay as the layer
The credential also lives on the phone: the stamp is validated on the spot, the stage is recorded, and the pilgrim sees their progress without depending on an office being open. Paper still exists for whoever wants it, and that is the point: the technology does not replace the ritual, it backs it up.
Community, not users
The system connects those who walk with those who host, with the brotherhoods, the dioceses and the businesses along the stage. What it generates is not traffic: it is a network of people who recognise each other.
Continental scale
A replicable format means each new territory does not start from zero: it inherits the credential, the stamp system, the platform and the argument. That is what makes it possible to think about a continent rather than a route.
Product that sustains it
An outfitting line of its own, from the catalogue to the pilgrim kits, funding the operation without depending on grants.
