Málaga House · SXSW
The umbrella born in collaboration with SXSW, where southern Europe’s tech industry meets the Texan one.

At SXSW there are houses from half the world. None from Málaga.
Málaga has southern Europe’s largest semiconductor hub and a growing creative industry, but in the week the United States looks at innovation it had nowhere to host anyone. The brief was an event. The right question was different: what infrastructure keeps the relationship alive the other fifty-one weeks of the year. The answer was an umbrella with two operating ends underneath it, New Malaka in Europe and USARunway in the United States, each with its own company.
